    X TEAM DIGITAL

Meg Heaton-- X Team Digital/Promotions and Marketing Intern

Hey y’all! I’ve been an intern for the X since January 2012 and it has been nothing but an incredible opportunity! I’m currently a Graphic Design Major at my local community college. Making graphics is my passion and I plan on making a career out of it. When I’m not absorbed into my computer screen I’m usually shopping, fishing, or watching a movie!

Amanda Jonson - X Team Digital/Promotions and Marketing Intern

Hey there! I've been interning here for a couple months now and it's been wonderful! I'm learning a lot of new things to help me on my career path of becoming a Graphic Designer. In my free time I like working on my original art and spending time with my family.

Richard-Alan Hollien III -- X Team Digital/Promotions and Marketing Intern

What's up! I am Richard, (aka the New Guy). I am a Southern California native, who one day hopes to work at a Creative Marketing Firm. I am a current Graphic Communications Major from Chaffey College, (where I obtained a degree in University Studies, with an emphasis in Arts & Humanities). Furthermore, I am in the process of transferring to a four year university. I am excited to work amongst the X-Team Digital department, and I believe together we can build great relationships.

    X TEAM PROMOTION

    Jason-X-Team Marketing/Promotions Intern

I've been a Intern with  X-Team for a little over 3 years.  Being with the X  has been a good experience for me it has showed me the business side that radio has to offer along with meeting new people.

Some of the things I like doing in my spare time when I am not interning for the X are working at my other job, Concerts, watching Horror Movies, going to Theme parks and Spending time with Friends and Family.

Two of my favorite Movie directors would have to be Tim Burton and Wes Craven. If I had to choose to of my favorite cult movies I would have to go with Rocky Horror Picture show and  Repo man the genetic opera.

Brenda Acuna- Marketing & Promotions Intern

Let me start off by saying that I love music! It is the primary reason why I chose to intern at X1039. Music is my sanctuary. It is a mode of expression for me, a way of controlling my emotions, and lastly a way of enjoying life. I listen to everything ranging from Coldplay, to Incubus, to Slipknot. Corey Taylor is the most talented, brilliant, not to mention craziest artist out there! There’s nothing like a little Slipknot or Incubus to put me in an energized, stress-free, unencumbered state of mind. Here’s a little about me….

I am currently a student at Cal State University San Bernardino, majoring in Communications and Spanish. I love reading (I’m a nerd), being active, running, working out, playing/watching sports and enjoying the competitive edge that comes with it. I am a bona fide adrenaline junkie. Anything that gets my heart racing= EXCITEMENT AND EUPHORIA! I’ve gone sky diving, zip lining, and would like to one day conquer surfing to fulfill my adrenaline thirst. On a more serious note, I am a very calm, very driven person, full of ambitions and aspirations. Writing is my primary passion and I hope to be a sports writer for ESPN some day or join Tony Kornheiser on PTI.

Lauren Fusco- Marketing and Promotions Intern

For as long as I can remember, music has always been a passion, both playing and discovering, and I’ve always been a believer in following your dreams which is why I’m so grateful to be one of the newest interns here at X103.9. Originally from Central Florida, I moved here to the Inland Empire this past June 2012 after graduating from Daytona State with an Associate of Science degree in Music Production Technology. My dream is help other peoples dreams come true by doing Artist and Tour Management and Promotions as a career. In my down time, I’m secretly an adrenaline junky (I guess it’s not a secret anymore), and I love going to shows, exploring, and playing music. I’m extremely excited for the experience and the opportunities that are in store for me here at X103.9!

Jesse Gallarzo- Marketing and Promotions Intern

Where do I start? Well, to get things going I should say that I love my life. I’ve been lucky enough to have an amazing family and friends with me on every step of the way. And what a wild and crazy road it’s been. Fortunately, it’s lead me here, to X103.9 where I just started interning. So far, I love it! The people here are driven and team players with great personalities to boot! I was raised here in Southern California and love anything that gets my heart racing. Growing up, I was always surrounded by cars and have grown a deep appreciation for them. When I’m not busy (which is very seldom) I enjoy building cars and motorcycles of all types and participating in local race events. Recently I’ve started to take my schooling more seriously which takes up a lot of my time, but it’s working towards my overall goal of becoming an automotive magazine editor. I’m excited to see what this year has to bring. I’m sure that while I’m here at the X it will be nothing short of amazing and I look forward to it! Hopefully I’ll see some of you readers out there and feel free to say hi!

Alicia Montgomery- Marketing & Promotions Intern

Hey everyone! I'm Alicia...I just celebrated my 25th birthday, got engaged in Vegas, moved into a new place and adopted an awesome puppy from a shelter. With all of these positive things in my life, I was still missing something which is what brought me to the X. I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity and am very excited to see where this road takes me and what doors it will open!

A few things about me: I am an avid Chiver. LOVE the snow. Gemini to the fullest. Spontaneous. Dog lover. Irish. Terrible bowler. *My ultimate goal in life is to be on the radio one day*

I've been wit X1039 for only three months and I couldn't be happier. I've come to learn and meet alot of awesome people here, that have made it easy for me to adapt.

I am a resident of the beautiful and unpredictable city of Pomona a.k.a. "P town" and have lived here ever since I can remember. I am a first year student at Mount San Antonio College, where I am currently studying radio and television broadcasting but before that, I was a 19 D ( Delta) Cavalry Scout in the United States Army and now a Veteran of the Iraqi War.

I personally enjoy hard rock music and the likes of Slayer, Testament, Dying Fetus, Immolation, Megadeth, Pantera, etc. but most of all, I like Metallica. I am a very laid back easy going person that is social, enjoys a good laugh and keeps a positive attitude.

I enjoy playing sports especially soccer, running, the beach, trying to learn how to snowboard, music, travel and anything that keeps me interested. I very much look forward to learning and acquiring new skills here at the X and giving it my all every opportunity that I get and seeing where this new ride takes me.

    X TEAM PROGRAMMING

     Frank-O -  X1039 DJ/Promotions Intern/Music Enthusiast

I started at X1039 in 2009 after listening to an on-air spot saying that they were looking for interns. So, I gave it a shot & have been here ever since. My experience here has truly been amazing & I wouldn’t trade it for anything else. A little back round info on myself:

-Originally from the L.A. suburbs & have moved all over the I.E. Fontucky, Colton, Rialto, San Jacinto, & San Berdookie just to name a few.

-Graduated H.S. in 2004 from Eisenhower in Rialto. Tried college, but didn’t dig the fact that I had to pay for education so I’ve educated myself by reading & researching things that I WANT to know about. I guess you can say that I’m “autodidact” & the “common sense” type.

-I’m musically diverse! Listen to it all, since I believe that ALL music derived from each other. One sound created another, & therefore I’m open to all styles, genres, formats, & crowds.

-Originality is key! There will always be the people that FOLLOW the crowds & trends. Myself, I’d rather be comfortable doing ME & could careless about what’s popular.

-I’m driven by positivity! Keep your negative vibes & gossip away from me!

Listen to me Rock the I.E. every Saturday morning from 6am-10am & follow me on twitter @RaginFrank_O. Also, iPhone users follow my wandering eye if you have the “Instagram” app @frank_o. Much love & peace to you all.

Alexis Sifuentes- Marketing/ Promotions & Production Intern

I am a radio broadcast major at Mt San Antonio College in Walnut and am actively involved in both our campus radio stations. I got into broadcasting when I took an R-TV course at school and instantly fell in love. I enjoy the production side, editing and creating promos, as well as the promotions department where I have a blast going out to meet new people and talk about music. I work front desk at a hotel in Ontario and I get a kick out of interacting with the colorful guests that stay with us. I play guitar and piano and enjoy listening to alternative rock and dance music.

Jeremiah Paul- Marketing/ Promotions, Programming & Production Intern

I’ve only been at  X1039 since the beginning of the year and with that everything has been a eye opening experiencing. Words can’t really describe how thankful I am for this opportunity. I’ve always loved being part of the music scene - the people, the artistry, the competition, and bringing all of those aspects together with music that touches the audience.  As a composer, myself I can relate to the dream and speak the same language. I have been inspired by the professionalism of the staff, in which I’m thankful for their mentorship and their wisdom that will hopefully position myself into a regular at the X and ultimately, a life-long career in the industry whether it’s imaging, remotes, board op, production, recording spots or hosting (my goal)....it’s inspired me and will serve as a foundation to my career.

In addition to my love of music:

-I play the keyboards, synthesizer and programmer for AlevelA.
-I help produced and composed music
-I’m currently in the studio recording our full length album with the assistance from Marti Frederiksen and Scott Stevens (Aerosmith, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Gavin Rossdale, Motley Crue, Sick Puppies, Hinder, My Darkest Days, Exies and Theory of A Deadman)
    - I love 90’s music
    -I love Mix Tapes
    -I love John Hughes
    -I want my MTV

At one point in my life I wanted to be a dancer (seriously) My friends and family JMJ

“The people in these towns, they're asleep...We wake 'em up”

Can’t wait to see you there :)

Alexandria Balligad - Promotions and Marketing

2012 marks the start of my adventure with X103.9. My name is Alexandria, but Alex and “Funsize” is what I go by. I’m five-foot-nothing with a personality through the roof. Being shy has never been an option, it is always a point of mine to meet someone new and make a connection. Even with being new to the X Team, I have had opportunities galore, experiences I will never forget and the chance to meet amazing people! There are infinite ways of life, unlimited personalities and new things to learn from all around, and I am eager to experience everything. Music has always been a true love, best friend and way of serenity for me, and being a part of the X Crew allows me to enhance my passion for this art. I am a born and raised Southern Cali Riverside local, constantly frustrated with the 91’s traffic. Any days off I can score are instantly occupied with driving out to Arizona and spending my free time boating on the river. Everyone has a different perception of paradise, personally mine is standing at the Sandbar in dry 110 degree weather with my toes in the brisk Colorado River.

The level of excitement and eagerness to excel at X103.9 is hard to describe in words. I am grateful for every opportunity that has come my way so far and there is no telling what the future will hold….keep your eyes out for FUNSIZE.

    X TEAM VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY

Richard Rasner - Station Photog Major Events

Richard Rasner is a professional photographer based out of Riverside, CA, with two other photo studios in Anchorage Alaska and Beijing China (not to mention three additional studios on the way in Las Vegas, Dallas, and Tel Aviv). Besides taking all the portrait photographs of the X 103.9 DJs you see here on the website, Richard's work also shows in art galleries and museums worldwide. He tours internationally on book signing tours and gallery showings, and his team of Nakayama Studios photographers can be seen at all sorts of events around the Inland Empire, as well as national and international events and concerts.

Richard cut his teeth on live music photography as the lead staff photographer for Mojo Republik Magazine (a division of Universal Records) shooting such bands as Nine Inch Nails, Panic! At the Disco, REM, Billy Idol, Stone Temple Pilots and hundreds more. After shooting Duran Duran's “Red Carpet” tour in Las Vegas, the veteran band requested use of the images for their website stating it was some of the best shots they had ever seen in their long career. Richard loves to shoot for KCXX as much as he is available (read: in the country) and will continue to do so as long as they let him. Live music photography is a passion he likes to pursue alongside his more famous nude portrait work for a unique change of pace. See more work from Richard and his team at www.NakayamaStudios.com
