Jack White has announced a follow-up to Blunderbuss is in the works. “I've got about 20 to 25 tracks I'm working on right now - a lot of songs,” White told Rolling Stone. “It's a good time for writing for me.” The former White Stripes frontman clearly wastes no time staying busy as he has also been working hard on new material with the Buzzards and the Peacocks, his male and female bands. While the release date for the yet-to-be-named album is unclear, White reveals it’s a good time for writing. “It’s definitely not one sound,” he said. “It’s all over the place. After going on the road with two bands…my influences have just spread out even more.” Either way, we can surely look forward to more hit songs and performances in the future.
